Social Science Department Philosophy Social Science at Holy Spirit Preparatory School is the study of human interactions on a large scale. We study history, civilization, geography and government in order to answer questions such as: What forces shape human organizations? How have those forces and organizations changed? How do societies define their core values? How did our society become what it is today? Our goal is to use reason and logic to improve our understanding of complex topics and to enhance our appreciation of fundamental values.
