LITTLE COUGAR BASKETBALL
LEAGUE 2008-2009 Emphasis of the league is to introduce the basic rules, good sportsmanship and skills of basketball for children in Kindergarten through Second grade. The league is committed to making sure all players receive equal playing time during games and coaches emphasize skills, rules and sportsmanship and not winning at all cost. Each grade level has its own teams. Each week the teams meet for one hour. The first 40 minutes of each session the players rotate between stations with each station focusing on a fundamental skill. The session concludes with a short game. Coaches stay on the floor during games and provide instruction and officiating. |
