In the event of a crisis (whether
internal or external to the school) which has the potential
to endanger students and requires the school or any
particular campus to be locked down or evacuated or requires
students to be collected from school earlier than the usual
dismissal time the following procedures will apply (provided
that the circumstances have not negated the use of the
applicable technology):
1) Both a Calling Post and an e-mail will be sent to all
parents with information and directions regarding collection
of students.
2) One or more emergency contact telephone number(s) will be
provided for parent use. Parents will be asked not to call
the school’s published numbers during non-weather related
emergencies if at all possible as that
may impair critical communications.
3) Updated information will be posted on this page of the school’s website.
