COOKING WITH KIDS!

I am pleased to announce that I will be offering my summer program yet again!  It will be available for preschoolers at Holy Spirit Preparatory School - preschool campus.

Rising PreK-3 through K: June 16-20

Rising PreK-3 through K: June 23-27

Classes will be held in Room #10:

Monday through Friday, 9:00am-12:30pm

drop-off & pick-up will be in Room #10…please be on time.

* Children must be picked up by 12:40pm or there will be a late fee charged at $1.00 per minute.

The cost is $195.00 per session…price includes all costs for food purchases.

The students will experience a morning of enrichment and enjoyment.  Included in the day will be a snack period (each parent will provide for his/her child(ren), due to allergies) and a play period (children will go to the playground). 

Cooking with kids will focus on a variety of aspects concerning food.  I will incorporate science, math, nutrition, and literacy activities while focusing on at least one cooking activity per day.  Campers will learn to follow step-by-step directions by completing most aspects of food preparation including sanitation, chopping, peeling, mixing, measuring, etc.  Each day, campers will be encouraged to try any foods they have prepared and may take home samples to share with their families if appropriate.  We will also learn about foods from around the world.

Registration is first come, first serve.  There will be a minimum of 6 campers and a maximum of 12 per session. Please complete the form below and submit with full payment to the preschool office.  All forms/payments must be returned no later than May 1, 2008.  Make checks payable to: Holy Spirit Preparatory School.
