As a way of worshipping as a community on First Fridays, the day traditionally dedicated to the Sacred Heart, Holy Spirit will be offering adoration this Thursday night and Friday (September 4th-5th) and the Thursday night preceding each subsequent First Friday that we are in school. We will be coming together in adoration of the Blessed Sacrament in the Upper School chapel starting with Exposition every First Thursday afternoon at 3:45 pm and ending with Benediction at 3:45 every First Friday. As Jesus can never be left alone when exposed in the Blessed Sacrament, this is a major commitment on the part of our community and we are seeking at least 2 people to fill each hour or half hour time slot. There is a sign up sheet for times on the door of Upper School Chapel in the Liberal Arts building students, faculty, and parents who are on campus can sign up for their preferred times. afternoon at 4:00 (following Exposition) go through the night until 8 am on Friday. The Blessed Sacrament will be exposed until Benediction at 3:45 on Friday and everyone is welcome to make a visit but as religion classes will be covering those time slots, there is no need to sign up for those times.
