Calculating GPA

A Grade Point Average (GPA) is based on the number of grade points earned divided by the number, or credit hours, of grades received.  HSP calculates GPA on a 4.2 scale.

This Grade Point Average Calculation helps students calculate their basic core, unweighted 4.0 GPA, their HOPE scholarship GPA, as well as a GPA Predictor.

Georgia's HOPE Scholarship is available to Georgia residents who have met certain academic requirements. The scholarship provides money to assist students with their educational costs of attending a HOPE-eligible college in Georgia.  For more information, visit GAcollege411.
