NINth Grade Overnight RETREAT

Location: Covecrest Retreat Center in Tiger, GA

Depart: US Campus after Matriculation on Monday, August 22

Return: US Campus by 3:35pm on Wednesday, August 24

Chaperones: Mike Rondeau, Jeff Rumiano, Rockie Rombalski, Kiley Jannetta

Retreat activities range from talks and skits, to hikes and outdoor scavenger hunts. We will also be celebrating a class Mass and offering the sacrament of reconciliation. Please pack for possible rain as well as for outdoor activities and sports. The dress code is casual but modest and must be in conformity with HSP standards of skirt and short lengths. No tank tops for girls or boys.

Please bring any necessary medications, instructions, or dietary restrictions to the attention of Mr. Mike Rondeau by Monday morning, August 22nd. He can be reached at mrondeau@holyspiritprep.org

Things to Bring:

A Bible, sleeping bag, pillow, shower towel, toilette items, casual clothes, rain jacket, shoes that can get muddy, clothes for Thursday and Friday.

Students should NOT bring iPods, computers, game systems, food or snacks.

I hereby give permission for my child listed above to attend to attend the Ninth Grade Overnight Retreat on August 22nd through the 24th and to be transported by school bus, private bus, public transportation, van or private vehicle(s) as determined by the school. For myself and the named child; I hereby waive and release any claim against Holy Spirit Preparatory School and its board, employees, servants and agents for any injury or loss incurred by my child during the field trip (save for any personal injury directly resulting from gross negligence on the part of the school) and agree to indemnify the school against any expenses, loss or damages incurred as a consequence of any action or inappropriate inaction on the part of my child. I confirm that there are no medical or other circumstances that should be known to the chaperone(s) that are not noted in the Medical Conditions or Special Notes box above.
